She is technically astute to input into program design, product development, curriculum design, virtual education solutions, lesson content, and live workshops.

  • Renowned live and virtual event presenter, keynote speaker, podcast host, and emcee. A published author, columnist, podcast creator, and instructional designer.

  • Created effective presenter training, both synchronous and asynchronous, for thousands of speakers to enhance the design of engaging content across a range of topics. Comprehensive content creation for educational programs and products integrated into both corporate and nonprofit environments using proprietary virtual event frameworks. 

  • Creation, design, building, and launch of educational programs and special events to serve a variety of audiences for multiple organizations, including national and international virtual conferences, concerts, keynotes, online networks, and creative live synchronous events. 

  • Produced thousands of online speaker sessions and dozens of online courses. Designed and built a full tech stack for customer experience and event delivery, including speaker selection, schedule development communications, marketing, budget, metrics, website, social media, and communities. 

  • Co-founded multiple efforts in digital education programs to enhance access to information and networks to engage learners including social media group supporting more than 47k members. 

  • Designed and implemented a digital education product roadmap accompanied by a website, UI/UX design, and integration of professional speakers and artists in content creation and curriculum development. Fully managed the creation of a video production studio and directed more than 3000 educational videos over the course of 18 months. 

  • Developed a wide portfolio of consulting work in business strategy, program design, online marketing, event management, partnership contracting, financial management, and virtual event and digital product strategy.

Elisa uses her diverse skill set and passion for strategic thinking to help nonprofits, businesses, and educators around the world. In addition to her role as Senior Marketing Manager for Conn Selmer, Inc., she served as conductor of her local community band from 2017-2021, is a former columnist for SBO Magazine, and founded the Music Educators Creating Online Learning social media group that now boasts more than 47,000 members.

Elisa is an internationally recognized speaker and has presented at national, state, and local conferences. She is the host and producer of the Music Ed Mentor Podcast, founder of the International Music Education Summit, and author of The Music Educator’s Guide to Thrive and The Music Booster Manual.

As an experienced K8 music educator, Elisa specializes in helping music educators build, manage, and grow thriving school music programs and have long and happy careers. Elisa holds a Bachelor of Music a Master of Business Administration and is pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Instructional Design.

An avid horn player and vocalist, she has recently taken up ukulele and bass guitar.  In addition to the many collegiate and community ensembles to her credit, she has performed with the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympic Spirit Band, the Utah Premier Brass, the Utah Valley Symphony, and the Grand Junction Centennial Band. She lives in Fruita, Colorado with her husband, three children, and thousands of miles of trails that she loves to explore and share on her Instagram, @wheninroamjones.
